Project managed by Donorfy
Donorfy pricing is volume-based: meaning you pay for Donorfy according to the number of constituents in your Donorfy system. Not per-user pricing. Not per-module pricing.
We monitor the number of constituents in your Donorfy throughout the month. All constituents count - whether active or not (including Archived). The peak number of constituents in the month in question places you into a price band, and that’s the basis of your invoice.
You can see all the price bands on the Pricing page by moving the slider through the various price bands. The price band you will be charged is automatically selected by our billing process according to the peak number of constituents in your database during the month in question.
Current constituent numbers can be seen in Donorfy, at the foot of the Constituents | All page. Donorfy comes with duplicate merging and bulk deletion tools that enable you to manage your constituent count.
No - we no longer make a charge for Gift Aid. The only charge you pay is the Donorfy subscription, with no hidden costs.
There are free training resources in the support site. Our training partners provide an excellent range of training services and resources - they will be happy to help.
Yes - when you want to upgrade just let us know and we'll get your subscription set up. All of your data is preserved, and the additional features available under Professional are unlocked.
There is a cost to provisioning cloud-based solutions such as Donorfy. So your system is available and can be used as long as your Donorfy subscription is active and paid up to date. This includes logging in to set it up, and is regardless of whether you have yet “gone live” on Donorfy. Remember your subscription is volume-based, so is likely to be lower when you have not yet uploaded all of your data.
Billing is automated, and invoiced on the 1st of the month, in arrears. For example, the invoice raised on 1st June is for May’s usage. The value of the invoice is based on the volume band you fall into, according to the peak number of constituents (active or not) during the month in question. Subscriptions are collected by Direct Debit on/around 15th of the month following the invoice.
Do I need to give payment information when taking out a trial?
No - no payment information is required for either the free trial or for Donorfy Essentials.
While we don’t currently market Donorfy outside of the UK and Scandinavia, yes, you can use Donorfy outside the UK, but please be aware of the following:
Pricing applies per our pricing page. It has to be billed in GBP, EUR or DKK.
Our support service is available during UK business hours - Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm GMT, except English public holidays
Some functionality in the product is specific to the UK - such as Gift Aid and the JustGiving integration - so you would need to ignore that.
Integrations are tested and supported to work in the UK. They may work outside the UK (for example Stripe operate in many countries) but we do not guarantee it.
Any essential requirements for your country (eg specific tax receipting or reporting) may not be possible in Donorfy without some custom configuration from a consultant.
Terms and Conditions are subject to English law
Yes – We are obliged to collect VAT at the standard rate unless we don’t need to (e.g. you are an EU organisation registered for VAT in your own country).
No. However the payment gateways Stripe and GoCardless retain their own transaction processing fees.
