Welcome to new team member Jamie Hodder-Norton

What's your role at Donorfy?

I’ve joined as a Customer Support Specialist so I’ll be getting to know all of Donorfy’s clients and assisting them with any queries and questions they have as part of the Support Team.

How long have you worked in the charity sector for?

I used to volunteer with my local hospital radio as a teenager and my first job was working for a charity in the arts sector. In my more recent roles I moved sideways into non-charity arts organisations and have gained a lot of experience with CRM systems both on a help desk and as part of a team responsible for the development, testing and roll out across a number of West End theatres. I’m really looking forward to getting back into the charity sector and, hopefully, putting that experience to good use.

What do you like most about Donorfy?

Having worked with a lot of different CRM systems over the years it’s really refreshing to find a system that’s so user friendly and intuitive. It was also important for me to find a company that genuinely cares about their team and customers and is open to being challenged and a collaborative approach and Donorfy ticks all of these boxes and more.

What do you enjoy doing when you're not working?

I have an eclectic taste in music but my real passion is rock and metal so outside of work I am usually found at a gig or festival. During lockdown I’ve taken on a few hobbies/ projects to stay fit and sane including jogging, learning to skate (which has been referred to as my quarter life crisis) and brewing my own mead. I’m also a bit of a nerd and enjoy gaming with friends (both video and table top).
