Addresses via Loqate – addresses are now passed through to Donorfy as a concatenated field into address line one.

Squished Bugs

We’ve been hard at work fixing some annoying bugs. Some of the more notable ones have made it on the roll call below...

General items:

  • The External Key was not being populated when adding an activity via the API

  • The Copy Address to Clipboard function went walkies – we’ve found it and put it in its place on the constituent profile

  • Various bugs relating to the File Uploader causing timeouts and failures, including large data sets being updated, worksheets containing too many rows, a date issue, large numbers of anonymous donations in a file, opportunity stages view issue and profile default information views now updates correctly based on changes made in the uploader

  • An owner/assigned to name was not showing within the Opportunities filters list under Opportunities or on a Opportunities List

  • Adding a new country in Countries settings that were first on the drop-down list to be added results in 'New Item' rather than Country Name

  • The Submit to HMRC button was not always saving in Gift Aid settings

  • Campaigns – there was an intermittent problem with rebuilding campaign segments causing the rebuild to fail

  • Merging bugs relating to the Constituent address link not being kept and the target constituent of Merge cannot be found in search have been resolved

Integrations:

  • A problem when an Eventbrite event is subsequently deleted while still mapped, causing bookings for this event not to be mapped to any campaign (including the default Eventbrite settings campaign).

  • JustGiving Settings error message after deleting the Anonymous Donor Constituent default

  • A non-helpful error message displayed when clicking the JustGiving menu item under Data Management when JustGiving was not set up a now a much more informative page about how to how to connect your account is now displayed

  • Various items relating to the Mailchimp integration – no list selected causing sync to fail, and issue with a change of API key causing Audiences not to show for selection

  • Some Direct Debit Mandates for GoCardless that had been canceled at the bank were not being fully updated in Donorfy so still appear as active, these are now displayed correctly

  • When using the Own Notifications option in GoCardless settings, notifications for changes were not being selected for sending. These are now selected or sending.

Product Updates

There has been a raft of updates to the core product to enhance performance, add extra usability and also to keep the product compliant with how other systems are working.

MailChimp: An information email about the completion of your MailChimp sync will be sent. If the sync failed the email will contain information of the email addresses that failed (up to a max of 20 records).

Eventbrite: If a contact has answered positively to an question in Eventbrite about consents which was mapped to a channel the Preferred Channel will now be one that they have given permission for rather than Do Not Contact.

A richer amount of data can now be populated relating to a constituent from the other common question fields on an Eventbrite form. Where applicable, this data will update the data on a constituent profile, i.e. replacing a personal address or an update to a name.

JustGiving.png

JustGiving: The eagerly anticipated ability to add direct donations for appeals has been added so that you can now map them directly to campaigns.
